The LiveAquaria® Preset Heater is an easy option for both saltwater and freshwater aquariums. Available in two sizes, the 50 watt heater is for use in aquariums up to 10 gallon capacity in size. The 100 watt heater is for use with aquariums 10-20 gallons in size.

Easy and convenient to use, the aquarium heater is preset to a temperature of 78° F. Fully waterproof and submersible, it can be placed in either a vertical or horizontal orientation.

The unit has convenient light activated indicators. The red light indicates the water is heating, and green indicates the pre-set temperature has been reached. If an orange light displays, it is the dry run protection alert.

Operating instructions:

Preset at 78° F provided that the maximum difference between the ambient and preset temperature is less than 9.1° F.

It is necessary to monitor aquarium temperature on a regular basis with a reliable aquarium thermometer. If the set temperature is not reached due to various variables (lower environmental temperature, large temperature fluctuations, or aquarium next to colling sources), it will be important to increase the heating power.
